1. Introduction to BCA Group
BCA Group serves as a holding company under the legal entity Bien Duc Company Limited, established on July 11, 2008 in Vietnam, consisting of member companies that partner with individual reputable brands around the world.
The brands BCA Group invests in Vietnam include: BNI Vietnam, Action Coach, Franchise Success, Corporate Connections, and others.
Currently, BCA Group is using basic tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and others to manage goals and has achieved certain results. However, to respond to new management trends, optimize operations, and especially apply the 4 Disciplines of Execution effectively, in January 2024 BCA Group officially implemented Simplamo — the first software in Vietnam that applies the 4 Disciplines of Execution.
2. BCA Group applies the 4 Disciplines of Execution to conquer business goals
Through meetings and implementation sessions with BCA’s leadership team, Simplamo experts gradually removed complexity, clarified the operating structure, and brought 4DX thinking into the organization:
- Restructuring the organization chart to be simpler and clearer: BCA Group manages many investment portfolios with many major brands across the country, so its management structure is quite complex. In the first step, Simplamo experts reviewed and streamlined a new organizational structure for BCA, with the aim of reducing complexity in future goal implementation and execution reporting.
- Building and cascading plans with focus: With many member companies, BCA Group also has a large number of goals that need to be managed and linked effectively. Simplamo experts guided the team to build and cascade plans with focus, from annual goals to quarterly goals and action plans (milestones) for each goal.
- Tightly linking goals: Linking goals from the corporation down to departments and between departments, creating tight connection across the organization so every member can easily grasp developments at any point in time.
- Guiding the organization of weekly performance meetings, with regular leadership check-ins to ensure execution is taking place consistently across the organization.
- Guiding the team to identify and solve issues thoroughly using the three-step I.D.S process, helping members share the same perspective on problems and know how to create specific actions to solve them, ending the pattern of “long-winded discussions.”
Through implementation sessions with Simplamo experts and data digitized on the software, BCA Group’s leadership team is very clear and transparent about the 2024 goals and shares the same method for executing goals effectively. By organizing regular weekly meetings in the coming period, members will gain a deeper understanding of the thinking behind the 4 Disciplines of Execution and the value it brings.
