BNI is the largest and most successful business networking organization in the world, founded in 1985. BNI Vietnam was officially established in 2010 and now has more than 9,000 members with 214 chapters across 32 major provinces and cities nationwide.
On December 28–29, 2023, at the BNI Vietnam National Leadership Summit 2023, BNI officially decided to adopt Simplamo software to deploy the 4 Disciplines of Execution (4DX), digitize goal management data, and manage regions, areas, and chapters on the software.
1. The challenge of managing a system of more than 214 chapters and 9,000 members
As a large organization, BNI Vietnam faces challenges that are also much greater than those of many other organizations. BNI Vietnam constantly optimizes its management system, especially goal management in a synchronized way across the entire system. Along with the trend of digitizing business management, BNI Vietnam set out to find software that could both manage data effectively and help execute business goals successfully, with several requirements:
- Managing business data consistently across 10 regions and 214 chapters
- Easily deploying strategic goals from headquarters down to regions and areas
- A method for synchronized goal execution and tracking execution activities across the entire system
- Connecting activities across regions and areas effectively, creating alignment and commitment toward the shared goal
- Reducing the burden of follow-up and increasing accountability and proactiveness at work
In response to BNI Vietnam’s requirements, Simplamo proved to be the most suitable management software at the time. Through introduction, discussion, and alignment sessions with regional and area directors, BNI Vietnam began implementing Simplamo software in January 2024.

2. The journey of operational renewal and unleashing the power of the 4 Disciplines of Execution on Simplamo
At the first stage of the journey, Simplamo’s expert team began implementation at the regional level, with 10 regions and more than 40 leadership members. The main topics included:
- Guiding each area to build annual goals for 2024, including identifying result metrics and the goals to be completed during the year
- Guiding the team to cascade annual goals into Q1 goals and create detailed action plans (milestones) for each goal in the most scientific, clear, and easy-to-understand way
- Guiding the team to build a scorecard for weekly business results, ensuring members clearly understand what weekly business results are and stay focused on completing them
- Guiding the organization of weekly performance meetings, with regular leadership check-ins across the 10 regions and within each region, ensuring execution is taking place consistently across the entire system
- Guiding the team to identify and solve issues thoroughly using the three-step I.D.S process, helping members share the same perspective on problems and know how to create specific actions to solve them, ending the pattern of “long-winded discussions.”
By digitizing data on a single platform, Simplamo provides a visual and clear view that helps BNI members grasp data and understand the next actions needed to achieve the shared goal.
